Domain name request

  Hi! So I have a friend who wants to start a blog with a domain name that is already taken, but is inactive since 2007. The name is perfect imperfections.

  Is there any way for WordPress to help obtain this domain, considering this person who owns it has not posted since forever?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  We do not reassign free WordPress.com addresses due to inactivity. The address belongs to the person who created it, and it’s their choice whether or not they want to use it or not. You can try leaving a comment on the site asking if they’re willing to give it to you, but we will not transfer ownership unless they request it.
