Domain name showing expired but have renewed it

  I have renewed my domain name http://smartysquid.com with another company and have mapped it and it’s now pointing to the wordpress server but somehow it’s getting a “Smartysquid.com has expired”. What else do I have to do? I have indicated that it’s my primary domain in the domain settings. Thanks!

  PS: I don’t want to upgrade I just want to renew my mapped domain. Is this possible without upgrading as I have already paid for two years subscription for my domain name? Thanks!

  Also, I am positive that I have only used one account – karinatumon to create this blog/website. So then I thought of transferring this site to another wordpress.com and went to MyBlogs page but it’s just giving me an option of ‘leave blog’ and can’t even ‘hide the blog’. I don’t know what else to do……
