Domain name switch?

  We just signed up for a domain name and WordPress.com hosting for $99.00 but someone on the team had a MUCH better idea….

  We signed up last week but haven’t started building the site yet…..
  Can we switch to a new domain name or is it too late?

  (How much would it cost?)

  Howdy,

  It’s not really possible to change a custom domain name.

  You can register as many domains as you’d like for a single blog. Simply add the new domain at Store -> Domains in your blog’s dashboard.

  Once you’ve registered the new domain, make sure that you set it to the primary domain at Settings -> Domains. The primary domain is the one that appears in your links.
