Domain Name That’s Been Abandoned

  I am hoping I can get a domain name that has apparently been abandoned.

  When I punch in the name I am hoping to secure at the sign up page, I am told “Sorry, that site already exists.” So it is perfectly clear that someone else has already taken the name. But when I go to the site, it says the address is no longer available and that “The authors have deleted this blog.”

  My hope is that I can get the address and use it for instruction. Is it possible to start using the name if no one else is using it? I would contact the owners, but I cannot locate them.

  Sorry, wordpress does not recycle deleted blog URLs.

  Basically, at least for now, deleted blog names are gone forever.
