Domain name transfer

  Hi – I have a domain name that I would like to use once my website is up and running. Purchased with GoDaddy. If I tranfer the domain to wordpress.com I understand that they extend it for a year. Does this mean a year in addition to the year I have purchased with GoDaddy (I purchased it today), so I would have it for 2 years in total? Or just a year starting from the date I transfer?

  As part of the transfer process, your domain will be renewed for an additional year.
