Domain name transfer

  I already have a domain name active on another register. I wish to switch to WordPress, but want to set up the new webpage before existing the other one. Can I do all the layout and design to my satisfaction before transferring it?

  Yes you are welcome to use the site with it’s assigned “WordPress.com” URL until you feel you are ready to “launch” and once you feel you are ready you can connect your domain at that time.
