Domain name transfer?

    I am looking at the different avenues to start a website, I have purchased the domain name but I do not wish to transfer it until I decide if the WordPress platform is the one I want to use. I cant seem to be able to explore the options in WordPress platform without doing so or purchasing a new domain which I don’t want to do. What option do I have?

    I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

    You can skip the purchases and choose a free address instead – one with .wordpress.com at the end. You’d be able to upgrade and connect your domain at any point.
