Domain Name Transfer

  I had a domain name ‘trugo.org’. I believe it was purchased through WordPress.com. I think it is going to expire around mid-August 2022. I want to retain that name and I want to get it transferred or ‘mapped’ to Zoho.com. I also need to know how to pay for another year of it, or longer (what the cost is for longer and if there is a discount for it.)

  Hey there, no problem. You’ll need to log out then log into the account that owns the domain. Use the email address that gets email reminders. You can use the log out option here:
  https://wordpress.com/me/account

  Once you’re in the right account, here’s how you can transfer it:
  https://wordpress.com/support/domains/transfer-domain-registration/

  Typically, a successful transfer will add one year to the registration, but if you run out of time or just want to be extra safe, you can add another year here, too. It will go with you to the new registrar. The key is to just ensure you’re logged into the right account.
