Domain name transfer

    Hello,

    I bought a premium account from wordpress.com with the domain name sebastienroux.net

    I deleted my premium account and now want to transfer my domain sebastienroux.net to another registrar (ovh.com).

    The OVH support told me that this domain is registered at WILD WEST DOMAINS.
    They also told me that the registrar need to change the DNS servers to these:

    dns19.ovh.net
    ns19.ovh.net

    I can’t see any trace of sebastienroux.net in my wordpress.com account anymore.

    Could you help me?

    When you deleted your premium account and site, it deactivated your domain.

    If you’re wanting to transfer your domain, you should never cancel it at your current host because once you decide to cancel your domain, there is no guarantee that you will be able to reacquire it in the future. Someone else could gain access to it. Also, it usually takes a few weeks for your domain registration to clear and become available once you cancel it. There isn’t an exact time, however, so you’ll be checking consistently to see when it becomes available.

    If you want to keep using your domain but you don’t want to use WordPress.com anymore, you don’t have to cancel it. Instead, you can move the domain to another site

    I’ll be happy to contact the registrar to see if we can restore the domain back to your account, but I cannot guarantee that we will be able to get the domain back.

    I didn’t know that deleting my premium account would also deactivate my domain. Yes, it would be amazing if you could contact the registrar for me and restore the domain sebastienroux.net

    Hi, The domain sebastienroux.net was released back to the public. You can register it again from this page:

    Please be sure to register the domain as soon as possible because it may be registered by someone else.
