Domain name transfer

    I have a domain name which is currently hosted by Namesco, for which I have paid in advance about £10 per year for the next 3 years. I also have a blog with WordPress. I would like to amalgamate the two. Is there an advantage to having them both under the wordpress umbrella or doesn’t it make a difference? I was looking at wix. As an added complication my current domain name is configured so that it points to a google plus website that comes with my youtube channel

    Adding your custom domain to your WordPress.com site may make it easier for others to find you online and brings a splash of personality to your site.

    After adding a plan to your site, there are two options to bring your domain over. The first is to transfer the domain to WordPress.com, the second is to map the domain to your site keeping it registered at Namesco.
