domain name transfer

  I thought I needed to get a domain name at godaddy, which I did, but now I’m being told by wordpress that I can’t transfer it for another 56 days. What do I do as I begin to build my website on wordpress?

  Hi there,

  You can not transfer domain untill 60 days from its registration.

  Instead you can map your domain here at WordPress.com,
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

  You will need to upgrade your WordPress.com plan for Domain Mapping.
