I need to update the domain I registered, how do I change it? Is there a way?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The Top Level Domain here is wordpress.com and all blogs hosted here are on .wordpress.com sub-domains.

Exactly what domain URL are you referring to please?

    Hi,

I’m sorry, I probably should have been a little more specific.

So I need to redirect our wordpress free blog to our domain, and I purchased mapping for moduspowered.com, but I actually need it at blog.moduspowered.com.

Can I make an adjustment on the “My Upgrades” page to the one I already purchased?

Sorry but that’s NOT a free hosted WordPress.COM blog and we do not provide support for it here. You are posting to the wrong support forum. WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate, have different log-ins and run different versions of themes with same names. http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

We provide support only for free hosted WordPress.COM blogs and not for WordPress.org software installs. If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.

moduspowereblog.wordpress.com is free, right? It’s the one I signed up for through wordpress.com, not wordpress.org.

I need it mapped to blog.moduspowered.com, so I bought mapping through the store, but typed in moduspowered.com in the “My Domains” page, in my admin site for moduspoweredblog.wordpress.com. I need to adjust this.

Nothing is installed on our server, it is NOT a wordpress.org software install.

If I can’t adjust the domain moduspowered.com, how do I delete it? It says “Contact Support” if you wish to delete a registered domain, but Support is this forum…

    Hi there,

Only the WordPress.com user who purchased the domain upgrade can manage that upgrade, so that user will need to get in touch with us to request any changes. They can either reply directly to this support thread or contact us directly.

If you aren’t sure who purchased the upgrade, you can check by going to Store > My Upgrades in the dashboard and look for “Purchased by” next to the domain upgrade.

The upgrade owner can also go to the My Upgrades page and click “Cancel and Refund” (within 30 days of purchase) to cancel the domain mapping upgrade and buy a new one for the correct subdomain, without having to contact us. Either way, we’d be happy to help. :)

    Hi Rachel,

I am the original purchaser. I’ll go ahead and cancel the current domain, and purchase a new one.

    Thank you for your help.

    Hi Chris,

I see you got the domain mapping for the blog.moduspowered.com subdomain you wanted, so you’re all set on this end. For the subdomain to work with your blog here at WordPress.com, you’ll also need to set up a CNAME record with your domain registrar. We have additional instructions for that here: Map a Subdomain

Please let me know if I can do anything more to help with this. :)
