Domain Name with Free Plan?

  Hello! Can I have my own domain name (example.com) with the free plan, or do I need to pay the $99 for the premium plan? I’m basically just wondering if to have a domain it’s the flat $18 to get the domain, or if it’s the $18 plus $99. Thanks!

  Hi @heatherleighdouglas ,

  Custom domains start at $18 annually. These are domains that eliminate the .wordpress portion, and simply end with .com or .net, etc… You can purchase a custom domain and use it on your free plan at WordPress.com.

  If you purchase the Premium Plan for $99 it will include 1 custom domain. If you have more questions about the plan upgrades you can go here for more information: https://store.wordpress.com/plans/premium/
