domain name without including ‘wordpress.com’

I am a new user. Before I purchase upgraded program, I’d like to know whether I can make my domain not including ‘wordpress.com’. For example, I ‘d like to make my domain as, ‘canadianconnection.com/ca/net/kr’.
Is it possible?

Every site comes with a free address with .wordpress.com in the URL. You can hide the .wordpress.com part by registering a new domain if you have purchased a WordPress.com plan. You can view available and suggested domains by following the instructions for registering a new domain.
I’m showing canadianconnection(.com) is already taken. However, you can choose from many others like .net, .org, .blog, .education, etc.
