  Hi all,

  so my Domain is registered with 123reg.com but I want to keep it and use word press for my website. What is the recommendation for the most cost effective and hassle free?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  You can create a website on WordPress.com using a paid plan and map your domain to your new site. Each paid plan comes with a free domain credit you can use to either register a new domain, or either transfer or map one you already own.

  Question is do I map or transfer?

  If I map, am I paying my original domain fee plus WordPress fee?

  Hi there,

  Once you have a paid plan, it comes with a free domain credit to either map or transfer your domain.

  If you map your domain to your WordPress.com site, you’ll still need to renew it with your domain provider but if you transfer it to WordPress.com, it will be renewed with your plan at no extra cost.
