  How do I find out what domain names are available? For example, the only reason I am willing to upgrade to a paid WordPress service would be to remove the advertising, double my memory storage for graphics, and secure a domain name for the first year.

  Hi paulkfox,

  you need to go to Domains > Add domain in your menu and type the name of your choice, if it appears there exactly as you want it, it means, it’s available. Then you click Upgrade/Select and follow the instructions.
