  Hi there,
  why do i have to get charged for adding a domain, form another provider, to my free wordpress website? Can i have clarification please as im working on a strict budget.
  I already have it pointed to wordpress… I think… I am very new at all this.

  A Personal plan or higher is required to map or transfer a domain you currently own elsewhere to a WordPress.com site.
