Domain Names

  I am new to WordPress and trying to figure all of this out. I own two domain names through GoDaddy that I want to link to my wordpress site using the domain mapping, but I have a couple of questions. 1. If I need to build my own website in the future, not using wordpress, do I still own my domain names and am I able to transfer them back or does wordpress own them? 2. Can I direct two domain names to one wordpress site? Thank you in advance for all of your help!

  1) as long as you keep renewing the registration you own your domain names, You also own your blog content. You can change the name servers to point back to GoDaddy or where ever you want at any time.

  2) I think you can map two domain names to the same blog – however only one can be primary (the name your visitors see when they visit your site)
