  I am creating a new site. For purposes of discussion, let’s say I picked ‘thecatinthe hat.com’ and moved on to the plan select page. I made no selection but moved on to explore a few wordpress features. When I returned to select ‘thecatinthehat.com’ the selection had disappeared. I doubt that someone else picked the name in less than one minute. How can I resume with this name for myself? Thanks!

  What is the actual domain you want to register? It is certainly possible that someone else registered the domain in the meantime, but we can only check on that for you if we know the domain you want.
