Domain names

  I would like to change my domain name with one that has been set up by someone else (as I found out from a search I conducted) but which has been inactive since March 2006!
  How can I ask WordPress.com to give me that domain name?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You can ask all you want but won’t do you any good as WordPress.COM will not give up domain names. There are many reasons for “unused” blogs, might be they set up an account for Akismet to get an API.

  Your only hope is to leave a comment on the site asking the owners if they would transfer the site. WordPress.COM will not give out any personal information about a blog.
