  Can I use the personal website plan to start with?

  If you are just getting started with WordPress, I would suggest going with the free plan for a while to learn about it and then you can choose the plan that you think is best suited for you.

  How do I set up hosting with a domain name from Go Daddy?

  If you already have a domain you own, you can do either of the following:
  1. Transfer an existing domain (the one you already own) to WordPress.com – if you already have a domain but want to manage it and your site in one place.

  2. Map an existing domain (the one you already own) to your WordPress.com blog – if you already have a domain that you registered and purchased elsewhere, but want to keep managing it via your current provider (note, you’ll still need to pay them for the renewal each year.)
