domain names using www.

  I’m interested in mapping a current domain name to wordpress. However, our current website is http://www.aikidopetaluma.com and according to the support notes, we can’t use the www subdomain. Has anyone gotten around this here?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Not that I’m aware of but that’s something that Staff will be able to answer.

  I know how to solve the issue.

  Go to Google Webmaster Tools at http://www.google.com/webmaster and set your “preferred domain” to www. instead of non-WWW.

  You need to verify your site first before implementing this.

  In doing so, all the traffic at non-WWW will be automatically redirected to a WWW version.
