Domain needs to stay active during transfer.

    Hi there,

    I am contacting on behaf of a client.
    the domain bonniesgfbakery.com is undergoing a domain name transfer however with other transfers I have done the domain will stay active on the origional server while things are being setup on the new server and will only switch over to the new server when the DNS is moved over as well.

    this dose not seem to be the case with wordpress.com
    it seems that when the domain transfer began it automatically disabled itself,
    if you would kindly provide sugestions or instructions on how we can get the domain back online untill we manually cancel the domain hosting package after the DNS has been moved over.

    Hi Dean, it looks like the domain connection was cancelled. I was able to bring that back again, so it will start working for you again as soon as your DNS refreshes.

    I’ll also note it with the domains team. Cheers :)
