Domain not active but how can I delete it and use it on another host? HELP!

I want to delete my domain…it isn’t active and I waited for it to expire. Got the phone calls from wordpress, everything. I want to use it at WIX and I couldn’t transfer it so waited for it to expire and it is expired but still showing up under my domains. How can I permanently delete it so I can see that’s available from another host? HELP! Need to do this ASAP

I have removed the expired domain from your account as requested.
Please note that it can take several days for expired domains to be returned to the public market.

It looks like my domain is still owned and locked my me…how can I return it to the public market? It has been over a week since you removed it from my account

Expired domains become the property of our registrar partner and are only returned to the public market at their discretion.
We have no control over this process, but I have seen it take anywhere from 5 to 90 days.
