Domain not pointing to GoDaddy hosting
-
My domain is still not working to point to Godaddy hosted site according to your instructions. Waited 48 hours for the dns cache to refresh as you recommended and still nothing comes up. Nameservers are with wordpress and A-name with the IP address for the Godaddy hosting site has been entered on the edit dns page. I have been trying to get this working all week and Godaddy says to use their nameservers and you say to use yours and neither of them worked. Frustrating!

Hi there,
I’m sorry for the trouble you’re having with this! I just visited your domain at http://sedonafireband.com/ and I was directed to your GoDaddy site. Here’s what I saw there: https://cloudup.com/cYJDCec3DSo
If that’s not working for you, can you make a screenshot of what you see when you visit your domain? You can upload screenshots to your Media Library under Media > Add New in your dashboard, or you can use an online service like Snaggy.

GoDaddy helped me figure out what was wrong. When I changed the A Name record to the IP address of the GoDaddy site, it deleted the old CNAME with www as an alias for sedonafireband.com as well so I added that CNAME record and now it works!

Excellent! I’m so glad everything is working for you now. If I can do anything more to help, just let me know. :)
