domain not pointing toward home page

  • Unknown's avatar

I cannot get my home page to show up when simply putting in my domain which is lynnenieman.com. It says “not found”. Once you select home from the menu it goes to the home page. It never used to do this. It would always default to the home page by simply going to lynnenieman.com. What has happened? oh, and I tried the domain mapping thing but I don’t see the “store” on my homepage. I am using the Photocrati theme for photographers.

And now my site is not coming up at all as it should. Can someone please help me with this??? I am getting very frustrated with WordPress and am considering another option for my website.

Hi.. you forgot to mention your blog address, and we really need this to understand what is happening.

Please, share your *.wordpress.com address, and also the custom domain you are trying to map.

    thanks!

lynnenieman.com is the domain. Never used a url with wordpress in it. I am hosted by Blue Host and also have my domain name through them.

Oh.. ok. I think mixed up things a bit. If your WP site is hosted with BlueHost you are actually running the self-hosted version of WordPress, or WordPress.org.

The best think would be to contact your hosting provider for support. If you need additional help with installing and user the self-hosted version of WP you can check wordpress.org/support/. There is a forum there, and also a number of ‘getting started’ articles.

    Cheers!
