Domain not resolving correctly

    Hello – the our domain name ‘www.waldorf-ibiza.com’ (managed on Freeparking) keeps on resolving to ‘The address waldorf-ibiza.wordpress.com cannot be registered’ page. This only happens through desktop browser, phone browser is OK.

    ‘www.waldorfibiza.com’ resolves correctly and is set up the same way on Freeparking.

    Something is wrong at your end. Please fix.

    Hi there,

    You used to have that domain mapped to a site no WordPress.com, but that upgrade expired and was removed from your account in November last year. We have absolutely no control over any aspect of your domain any more, so this is not a problem on our end. It is completely impossible for us to redirect your domain anywhere, as it’s not registered with us, and the DNS is not hosted with us.

    If the www version of your domain is being redirected, it’s either being done by a DNS record or a redirect set up at your domain provider, so please contact them directly to check into this for you.

    If it only happens in one browser, it’s also possible that browser still “remembers” where the domain used to point. In that case clearing your browser cache should fix things.
