Domain not showing + redirect loop on wp-admin
-
Hi there, I’m having a serious issue with my WordPress.com site.
My domain (
lamorindaband.org) is registered with WordPress.com, and I’ve confirmed that it’s supposed to be set as the primary domain. However:- It does not appear under Settings → Domains in my dashboard (it just says “You have no domains added to this site”).
- When I try to access
/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=pageor any admin page, I get a redirect loop (ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS). - I’ve already tried clearing cookies, using incognito mode, and accessing the staging domain (
lamorindaband.wpcomstaging.com) — but the redirect still happens. - I also tried the “Use a domain I own” flow, but it says
lamorindaband.orgis already registered to this site, so I can’t re-add it or edit DNS.
I need help from a WordPress staff member to:
- Re-link the domain to my dashboard so I can see and manage it
- Check and reset the domain’s DNS/SSL/redirect config from your end if needed
Thanks in advance — really appreciate the support!

Hi @samcao53d905f6aa,
I’ve checked your account and can confirm that your site’s primary address is already set to lamorindaband.org, which is why your website is now accessible via the custom domain. However, your current account does not have ownership access to the paid plan and domain registration for lamorindaband.org. That’s why you don’t see the domain listed under Settings → Domains. To manage the domain and plan, you’ll need to log in to the account that originally purchased them.
Regarding the redirect loop error (ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS), please reach out to us at help@wordpress.com or via our support channel so we can assist you privately.
Let me know if you have any other questions!
