Domain not transferred
-
Hi,
I’ve registered and paid for my blog to be at annacaughey.com and have been emailed a receipt for payment. However, my blog still seems to be at annacaughey.wordpress.com . Could I find out how to change this over, please?
Many thanks,
Anna CaugheyThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

To activate your new domain, select the button next to the one you wish to activate and click Update Primary Domain. Your blog will be accessible from both of these domains; the Primary Domain is what actually appears as your domain within the address bar of web browsers. If you do not see your blog at the new domain immediately, please allow some time for the DNS changes to propagate
DNS can occasionally take a day or so to propagate. Also, I’m currently able to browse to http://annacaughey.com from my home PC, but it appears to be a different blog than the one at http://annacaughey.wordpress.com. Double-check and make sure you registered the domain for the correct blog.

http://annacaughey.com/ resolves to a WordPress.COM site for me that is empty – I am assuming (bad in the forum I know) that you wanted the domain name to map to the blog linked to your name?
You need to contact the staff and ask them to move the domain mapping to the correct blog – don’t delete the extra blog that seems to have been created in error but set it to private and use it for testing if or whatever (no cost to you – and maybe you will think of something to use it for in the future)
http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/ – search for anything in the search box then page down to the contact form
I will also flag this for Staff attention.

The annacaughey.com domain is mapped to annacaugheydotcom.wordpress.com right now. The trouble with fixing it without confirmation first is the two blogs are on completely separate accounts. It looks like you created one account and blog, and instead of mapping a domain to that blog, you created a whole separate account and blog.
To fix it, you’ll need to contact the support team from the account you used to purchase the domain also let us know the final setup you want including username, email, wordpress.com blog, and custom domain. Once we have that, we can sort out the accounts for you. :)
