domain not working

  I started a new blog here, and paid to have the hosted domain. But any changes I make to appearance do not show up on domain ronaldsscotthansen.com if I go in through dashboard to captainron4.wordpress.com I can see the changes but need them to actually show on domain.

  Please any help and use simple words, if it isn’t obvious I am new to this. I’m not even sure I will be able to find this thread again to hopefully see an answer.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  How LONG have you had the domain upgrade? It takes up to 72 hours for the domain and the WP blog to get connected over the entire internet.

  Also, please, in order to make the links clickable, please preface them with http://

  I have had it for 4 days and actually installed a theme and a background the first day, but on returning to install widgets and post it would not work.

  Also, I haven’t even tried to install a link yet, let’s get a post first, but even as much of a beginner as I am I know to use the whole URL when installing a link

  I think you have a spelling error in your post above http://ronaldscotthansen.com/ does resolve to a WordPress.COM blog that was registered on the 10th. Did you create a new account when you registered the domain?

  And yes I opened the account and registered the domain at the same time.

  Then log in to http://ronaldscotthansen.com/ and blog away.

  http://ronaldscotthansen.wordpress.com/wp-login.php

  You can add captainron4 to your new blog as a user / editor / admin whatever would be the quick way to fix things – you can transfer the blog to your first account if you want also.

  Thus the problem, when I log into http://ronaldscotthansen.com and click on admin and make any changes they don’t show up there. But show up on http://captainron4.wordpress.com

  captainron4 is the only account I have. So I don’t know what you mean when you say add it to my new blog or transfer it to my first account.

  http://ronaldscotthansen.com/ and http://ronaldscotthansen.com/ are what looks like two completely separate accounts and blogs. For the time being you can’t get from one to the other – you have what looks like two completely different usernames – and log-in’s

  You can add the user from one account to the other account Dashboard >> Users >> add user from community.

  I didn’t even know you could have 2 domains the same, how did they let me register a domain that already existed?

  Do I own them both?

  My typo http://captainron4.wordpress.com/ is a different account than http://ronaldscotthansen.com/

  http://ronaldscotthansen.com/ and
  http://ronaldscotthansen.wordpress.com/wp-login.php

  Are the same blog and account.

  If you are Admin then there should be a Users section of your Dashboard.

  I found the Users button, it wasn’t under dasboard but I found it. I tried adding ronaldscotthansen email as a user.

  I tried transfering the blog

  I tried combining.

  I still cannot log into http://ronaldscotthansen.com without getting sent to http://captainron4.wordpress.com

  any suggestions anyone?

  Okay I think things are improving…now my admin dashboard will not load at all…..
