My domain mapping has not released and I requested a refund two weeks ago. I am launching my website within the month, but I can’t get started until my domain is released for andreaborden.com.

When you fail to renew an domain name there is a brief grace period and after it expires the domain name no longer belongs to you. It belongs to the registrar that your purchased it from. That registrar can charge a redemption fee for getting the domain name back ,assuming they have not sold it to someone else or auctioned it off. I tagged this thread for Staff assistance.
