Domain of deleted site not available for registration
-
Hello,
I would be interested in taking over a ‘.wordpress.com’ domain to start a travel photography blog. It seems that the authors of the page have deleted it but the domain is unavailable for registration. As I also set up Facebook, Instagram and Google+ accounts with the same names, I am looking to keep the theme on WordPress. Would it be possible for me to register that domain? Many Thanks! Andrei
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
Thanks for the reply. You said “generally”, does that mean there still is a way to register one, once it has been deleted?
-
Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them, and no exceptions are made except for the one stated here http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/ for blogs URLs deleted 2 or more years ago.

If a deleted blog URL is able to be recycled, it would be listed as available when trying to create a site. As the site URL you want is not available, there is no way to use it.
