Domain on hostinger and website made using WordPress.

  if I purchase the domain from hostinger or godaddy and register it for 5 years, will I be able to use that domain on wordpress for making my website.

  Hi @malujiwalastone,

  Yes, of course, you will be able to use it whether you host your site on WordPress.com or you use a self-hosted open-source installation of WordPress on any other host.

  You will, however, need to map the nameservers associated with your domain to that of the hosting solution you go ahead with.

  Furthermore, if you are just getting started, you should make yourself familiar with the difference between hosting a site on WordPress.com platform and installing an open-source WordPress.org software on another hosting. The following guide will familiarize you with that:
