Domain on server hold
-
So I bought two domains, one in November, and one in January – OfaKind.Design – which I bought through WordPress.com. My cousin does website management and told me he could host my domain on his server – cut to, every issue you could think of and then my site got hacked, and I believe that hacker tried to steal my domain but wasn’t able to transfer it thankfully. Now I am trying to switch the domain to another host, have paid for the plan, but they told me my domain is on server hold by the registry. I have since verified my information for icann, but I don’t remember if I ever verified the info when I first got the domain. Not only is it on server hold but client transfer hold and server transfer hold. So has anyone been in this scenario? Any ideas how long this will take to resolve? The new DNS is waiting for me! I have pretty much put everything with my small business on hold as I wait for this remedy, as I do not want to open shops or new social media pages without my website up and running / so far I’ve paid for two domains, and now hosting all of which I cannot use 😔
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
From what I can see the domain ofakind.design is in good standing, and there is no hold of any kind. What is the domain name server (NS) addresses of your new host?
Currently your domain is set to the following:
– dns1.namecheaphosting.com
– dns2.namecheaphosting.comLet us know the new settings you wish to use instead (the ones recommended by your new host) and we’re happy to add those for you. Thanks for the additional info!

Hello,
Namecheap is my new host, they notified me and said they were unable to link OfaKind.design to the dns because there is a hold placed by the registrar, and they told me to contact you about it. On icann (https://lookup.icann.org/lookup) there is a Visual Serverhold in place, along with servertransferhold, and clienttransferprohibited. I need the new dns to propogate with namecheap, and I guess one of those holds is preventing this.
If everything is in good standing, can you contact icann or Whois to get these holds taken off of my domain so the dns can be propagated? I’m 100% sure it is something on your side preventing the dns from propagating, thanks so much! -
I read that the serverHold usually means that the domain registrar has not yet activated the dns records?
I am assuming the other transfer holds are on bc I modified the information.
So however you can get rid of that ServerHold on OfaKind.Design would be great. Again it is on the icann lookup as I mentioned above, and if it’s in their records as that then that is preventing namecheap dns from functioning. Thank you!

Sorry Namecheap actually said this was placed by the registry, are you able to contact them to get this resolved? If not can you provide contact info? as I do not know who they are.
Thank you! -
