How do I find out under what account name I purchased from WordPress the domain: http://www.perdidonaturaladventures.net and http://www.perdidonaturaladventures.com
Whenever I try to purchase these domains to make them my primary domains, I am told they are already purchased. I want to know if I purchased them with you?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi there,

perdidonaturaladventures.com is not registered with WordPress.com, but with Japan Registry Services. That domain is not connected to any WordPress.com account.

The domain, perdidonaturaladventures.net, is registered with us, but as you are not even a user on the site to which it is connected I cannot tell you the username that owns it.

If you have any receipts for payments for that domain, insert the email address where you received those domains into the lost password form to reset the password and regain access to the account. Make sure you are logged out of this account when you do this, or it won’t work.

If you don’t know the email address for the other account either, you can find our other account recovery options here:

Hello kokkieh and thanks for your reply. I know the perdidonaturaladventures.com domain is owned by a Japanese firm but the .net is what I purchased with WordPress.

My problem is that I don’t know the account I used to create the website. I posted three pieces when I first created the site but now I cannot access it. I thought of waiting until WordPress asks me to renew but that is not until November this year. I want to make a blog post and I sure would like to know how I can access it. The additional info helped but I still need to get in.

  • The easiest way to figure out the account that owns that domain is to try all the email addresses you have on the password reset form. If you still have access to the email address you used for that account, you will receive a link to reset your password, allowing you to log in again. Make sure you are logged out of this account when you try this.

Otherwise, when you bought the domain, the payment was processed via PayPal, so they’ll be able to give you a transaction ID if you can provide them information on the last payment you made for the domain. You can then use that transaction ID on the account recovery form:
