Domain ownership

    I’m thinking about getting a personal plan, but I was wondering will I own my domain name? If I ever go to another host will I be able to take my domain with me?

    Hi there,

    If you register a domain with us, it’s yours to do with whatever you choose. So you don’t have to use it with us.

    If you decide to use different hosting you can point the domain to their servers instead, or provided you’ve owned it for at least 60 days, you can also transfer it away completely.
