  I purchased my domain name. But I don’t believe its registered anywhere except from where I purchased it from. What is my next step here?

  First, choose a plan here:
  https://wordpress.com/plans

  Next choose to map the domain: https://wordpress.com/domains

  Then point your domain to these name servers:
  ns1.wordpress.com
  ns2.wordpress.com
  ns3.wordpress.com
