Domain Parked through automattic

  I register my domain yesterday through wordpress.com and now the domain I registered is parked by automattic. Is there a way I could get my domain transferred to the host I’m using (Blue host).

  my domain: thenerdybrain.com

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  My domain no longer shows up in my “Domain Management” Tab. I just cancelled my personal plan with wordpress.com yesterday as well and now I’ve lost my domain :(

  Hi there,

  You registered the domain yesterday, and then you also cancelled it. By cancelling it and requesting a refund you said you don’t want to use it any more, so you no longer own it. That’s why it doesn’t appear in your domain management tab.

  As you cancelled the domain on the same day you bought it, it should become available again by the end of the week, and then you can register it with Bluehost directly.

  The other option is that I restore the domain to your account with us, but then you’ll only be able to map it to Bluehost, not transfer it. A domain can only be transferred to a different registrar once you’ve owned it for 60 days or longer.

  Move Your Domain to Another Host

  Let me know if you’d prefer to restore the domain, otherwise you’ll need to wait until it’s released.

  I’ve changed my mind, I was hoping if I could get it restored with wordpress and I’ll just wait for 60 days?

  No problem. I’ve un-cancelled the domain. As your original payment has been refunded, I’ve sent you a payment link via email for the cost of the domain. Once we receive payment I can restore the domain to your account and then you can point it to Bluehost until it’s unlocked for transfer.

  We’ve received your payment, thank you. Your domain is now fully restored, and you should see it if you go to My Site ->Domains.

  To use the domain with Bluehost, please ask them for their name servers. Then you can add those to your domain via these instructions:
