Domain parked with Automatic

  Hi there,

  My ex-girlfriend had registered the domain http://www.rawmondofest.com for a website we created.

  We ended up hosting the website on a friend’s server, but my ex cancelled the domain and we can’t buy it ourselves now.

  The nameservers were pointing to my friend’s server, but we can’t even change that back since she cancelled the domain payment.

  Is there a way we can buy up that domain?

  Hi there,

  Cancelled domains are not released immediately, but that depends on the type of domain, when it was cancelled, and the policies of the particular registrar. The domain, rawmondofest.com, will not be released until after it expires in December 2017.

  I can still restore the domain, but I can only do so at request of the elenaideas2earth username who registered it, and I can only restore it to that account. Once it’s restored that user will then need to transfer the domain to your account if you should be the new owner.
