Domain parked with autommatic

    Hi, I am new to this and i cancelled my business plan but not able to reuse my domain (www.purehealthhappiness) as it says it has been parked with autommatic. Can you kindly assist me as I have been refunded and the cancellation has been processed successfully therefore would like my domain to be released as well so I can still utilise it.

    I am sorry to hear that the Business plan wasn’t a great fit for you – which aspects did not seem to be a good fit?

    The domain itself has not been canceled, so it is still yours to use!

    When you register a domain, the ICANN (the people who make the rules about domains) organization will not allow the domain to be transferred until 60 days have passed. If you are curious about this rule, you can read about it here:

    You can use the domain with another host now, by changing the DNS records until the 60 days has passed, then you can transfer the domain. This helpful help document will help you do this:

    You need a WordPress.Com site to do this.

    Hi there,

    I no longer have a wordpress.com site as it was cancelled/deleted so now when I try to create a new one, i receive the following error “This domain is already mapped to a WordPress.com site.”
    Is it not possible to re-instate the domain somehow so it is not parked anymore? I have seen on a previous post this was done where the domain was released. Maybe silly questions as I am a total newbie to this.

    Hi ashanatrading,

    I have been refunded and the cancellation has been processed successfully therefore would like my domain to be released as well so I can still utilise it.

    As you cancelled the domain so soon after registering, it should be released in around 5 days. I can’t give you an exact date so please keep checking to see if the domain is available again.

    The other option is I can send a payment request for the domain costs and restore it to a new site in your account. You will then be able to transfer the domain 60 days after the registration date. Based on what you’ve said, this may not be ideal but I wanted to let you know the option is there :)

    Please let me know which option you would prefer.

    @dave2swords, please add the ‘modlook’ tag to any threads about domain renewal/cancellation so Staff can take a look. Thanks for your assistance.

    I’m having a similar issue – I registered the domain I wanted, “f3jax.com,” with GoDaddy and then realized I could register it as part of a paid WP plan at no extra cost, so I immediately canceled with GoDaddy and got a refund. However, WP still says the domain is in use; how long does it usually take to show up as available again?
