Domain Payments

    Can WordPress accept annual domain payments for a site if they’re made from a trust created for that purpose, rather than directly from the domain owner?

    (Sorry if this is a dupication. I tried to put up a message about this yesterday, but I can’t find it listed in the lists of forum questions.)

    Thanks for reaching out to us. This is a great question. It doesn’t matter where the funds originate as long as they can be submitted through one of our accepted payment methods: https://wordpress.com/support/payment/

    Another consideration is that whoever is managing the project needs to be able to obtain the transaction ID from the purchase / renewals. This is one of the identifiers you can use to regain access to a lost account.
