domain pointer

    Hi there

I own a couple of domain names which I have with another company. I want to point the domains to my wordpress sites. One has worked fine but the other (configured in exactly the same way) shows an error (has done for a couple of days now) saying the domain isn’t configured correctly.
    I’m trying to point richardfair.co.uk to https://itsabitrichuk.wordpress.com
I have already managed this with pointing itsabitrich.co.uk but the richardfair.co.uk, even though the setting are the same, doesn’t work.
    Any help?

    Many thanks, Richard

    Hi Richard,

I checked your domain richardfair.co.uk and it is currently pointed to a different website host, using these name servers:

    • dns0.easily.co.uk
    • dns1.easily.co.uk

To point your domain to your WordPress.com site, it will need these name servers instead:

    • NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
    • NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
    • NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

Your domain registrar can help you make that change if you need. We also have a full guide to Use a Domain You Already Own (Domain Mapping) with more details.

Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)
