Domain pointing ruined my email access

    After pointing my domain to the one assigned by WordPress.com my email settings were apparently changed. I can no longer download email associated with this domain. This has been confirmed by the company I previously was using when they examined the log files for the domain.

    Does anyone know how to fix this? I’ve been given the correct configuration by my old hosting company in order to fix the settings but don’t know where on WordPress.com to make the changes.

    At this point I would prefer to just remove all associations with my domain at WordPress.com. I have already removed my domain as the primary. I haven’t changed the DNS settings yet as I’m waiting to hear back from my former provider.

    I’ve contacted tech support via the web-based form. I noticed at this page (https://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/) they are unavailable until October 21st.
