Domain problem
-
I added the nameservers to my domain but when I go to my domain it doesn’t redirect to my blog. What needs to be done in order to do this?

Works for me, both as a DNS request and a browser lookup. I see your blog fine. (The one linked under your user name) Please clear your DNS (not browser) cache and check again. Please let us know what your OS is if you need help with this.

Here’s an explanation of DNS cache clearing for windows xp that may or may not be helpful to you.
It’s by far too “geeky” for me *lol*

Start -> Run…
Type in command and click on OK.
You’re going to get an old black DOS window up.
Type in:
ipconfig /flushdns
and hit enter.
It erases your computer’s record of where the different sites are on the net and will pull new records from your ISP’s own DNS servers.
Hope this helps,

I still get a 403 forbidden when going to gmchronicles.com
How do I get it to redirect to the blog? Does it redirect for you?
Thanks.

To save time for drmike I tried http://gmchronicles.com and was redirected to http://gmchronicles.wordpress.com and I got the same results you did. :(
I’m out of here now. You need a “techy” type to help you and that doesn’t describe me. Best of luck to you. :) -
The blog comes up fine when I pull it up from here and TT as well. You can see a report of your domain here. I know that that’s all geek to folks but everything I see there is correct.
The flush should have cleared it unless your ISP is cashing their DNS even more although that would raise some issues with the rules that cover DNS.
You can really flush the DNS if you want by disconnecting and doing a hard reboot if you want to try. From looking at the DNS record, it should force a reflush itself in a few hours though.

Well I got a few friends to link there and same results as you guys. And now it began to work for me. Thanks for all the help and fast responces guys.
