Domain problem

    okay so i have recenlty developed a buiseness website from scratch for a family member under a new domain name

    however the family member has came out and told me he is currently hosting an outdated version of a word press site a domain name he want to keep for the buiseness’s website

    how do i go about either changing the url of my new site to his old domain (bare in mind i will need a blank state as it is such a mess that its not worth trying to fix it ), or deleting his old site and uploading my files to his word press under the current domain name
