Domain Problem

  I have a domain from GoDaddy and I’m trying to add it to my blog. But it said I have to pay 99 dolars for it. A friend of my did it free . And I’m not buying anything I already have a domain why do I have to pay 99 dolars? What am I doing wrong?

  You now need a paid plan in order to map a domain to your WordPress.com site:

  The Personal plan is a great option if you need to update in order to map a domain to your site. Add the Personal plan to your cart before the domain, or the Premium plan will be selected.
