Domain Problem

  Hello,
  I have bought a domain for 18$/year this is my domain “https://geniusmedicines.com/”
  How to change my old website which is “https://geniusmedicine.wordpress.com/” to the domain that i have bought ?

  Also when i click on my domain name i can’t edit/adding anything to it and it requires me to buy a plan and i don’t need a plan for my website
  please help because i’m very disappointed after purchasing my domain :(

  To use a custom domain with your WordPress.com site, you need one of our paid plans. It seems that @staartmees has already mentioned that in your previous thread: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/website-name-58/

  yea but i found an option to buy domain only and i thought he didn’t know well the website, i have already requested to refund money.

  i have another question regarding plans
  does WordPress offers free paid plans for ascending websites? or is there a special time that WP offers a good discount on their plans?

  We don’t offer any discounts or plans for free to rising websites. However, we offer discounts several times per year.

  Also, regarding the domain you just canceled, it will be released and become available for registration again in about a week. If you want to continue using it with us, I can send you a payment request and then restore it back to your account.

  Thanks for help , i don’t need the domain any more because i didn’t decide to buy a plan yet. thanks for help :))
