Have you followed these instructions? http://faq.wordpress.com/category/domain-mapping/
Has staff acknowledged receipt of your funds for the credits? -

All volunteers can do for you is to point you to the steps to take. If you have floowed them and still have problems then you will need staff intervention. But before you contacts staff please review and make sure you have done everything outlined.
Q: I own domain.com, can I map that to my wordpress.com blog?
A: Yes! Here is what you need to do:
Go to your domain registrar and change the nameservers to the following, being sure to remove any existing nameservers that may be there:
ns1.wordpress.com
ns2.wordpress.com
ns3.wordpress.com
If your registrar needs the IP addresses:
72.232.101.25
208.69.182.198
72.233.2.19
Then you need to wait. DNS propagation could take up to 72 hours – though it is frequently less.
Go to http://dnsstuff.com
In the top right is the DNS Lookup box – enter your domain name. If it says our nameservers, you can proceed here. If it does not you need to wait some more until it does.
In your blog click Options > Domains
Put your domain name in the box, click ‘Add domain to blog’. Your domain should then appear as a choice below that button.
Along from the domain name it will say “Put blog here”
Click that. -

If you added the domain and paid the credits, it should show up under you Admin => Upgrades => Domains and then choose the option to “put blog here” beside the domain name. If that isn’t there, then contacting staff is the best option. Just some background if you hadn’t checked all that already.

You’d think they would have this figured out by now – the geniuses!
My domain – registered through wordpress (paid for!) and domain mapping expired Dec 15th while I was away at a funeral and then the holidays. When I returned today, I tried to renew both the domain mapping AND the domain registration, which were both done through WordPress. Well, Automattic took my money twice for domain mapping (thanks a lot), and there is no way to renew my actual domain name on WordPress. And – now I have to wait until Monday / Wednesday! to contact the wise people of WordPress!Sometimes smart people can be sooooo stupid . . . Why is it that so many intelligent people lack basic common sense?

I know you are upset, but they will fix this for you. Staff monitor these forums and hopefully they will see this and fix it for you. I am sorry to hear about these troubles for you.

The person whose email starts Nederhop074@ has paid 15 credits once.
They have not been used. The domain:
Domain name:
nederhop074.nlStatus: active
Registrant:
END001400-INTSU
– Gratis Hosting En Domein
1e Lambertusstraat 26
5921JS Venlo
NetherlandsDomain nameservers:
ns1be1.1-eurohost.com
ns2be1.1-eurohost.comis not pointing at our nameservers. Until it does the mapping cannot happen.

pebrent – renew the domain now. That’s as soon as you read this.
You have 3 domains and another upgrade. Nothing looks amiss – but if you delay renewing any longer I cannot help. If you want to argue, fine. But first renew. -
-
Mark,
WHEN I PRESS “RENEW” UNDER THE “DOMAINS” PAGE ON THE DASHBOARD. IT ONLY RENEWS THE MAPPING, NOT THE DOMAIN.
HOW DO I RENEW THE DOMAIN THROUGH WORDPRESS?
THIS IS SO UNNECESSARILY FRUSTRATING . . .
-
SPEAKING in CAPITALS can be seen as yelling, so please! You registered your domain through another registrar (not wordpress) which looks like Eurohost.com so it might be easiest to renew the domain through them. If the domain itself is “expired”, then maybe mark or other staff members can try and help you get it with the wordpress.com registrar, but it look like it is with the other registrar now. You would have to renew it there to even get it pointed to the wordpress.com nameservers come to think about it.

trent,
Sorry for the caps.
You wrote “You registered your domain through another registrar (not wordpress) which looks like Eurohost.com so it might be easiest to renew the domain through them.”
NO, I did not. I registered through WordPress at the very same day I did the domain mapping. I have screen captures of all of it from that day. How did “Eurohost” get hold of it?
I will talk to the staff on Monday or Wednesday. I want it back. this is not my fault. it is the fault of WordPress.
Does WordPress “sell” groups of domains to other companies, much like subprime mortgagers package and sell off home loans?
-
Disregard that, I was thinking the “original poster” and not you. As mark said above:

Mark or trent
When I went to WHOIS, this is among what they tell me about my domain name:
Created On:15-Nov-2006 06:47:43 UTC
Last Updated On:27-Dec-2007 12:24:48 UTC
Expiration Date:15-Nov-2008 06:47:43 UTC
Sponsoring Registrar:Wild West Domains, Inc. (R120-LROR)
Status:PENDING DELETE RESTORABLE
Status:HOLDNotice that the expiration date is now 2008.
How did it get renewed?I am still listed as the owner.
What’s up?

Before I answer further, what is the full domain name you are concerned with?
http://www.nederhop074.nl was not registered here.
You did register harvestpe.org harvestws.org and candlelight07.org
I have records for the above 3. -
trent,
I did go to renew on that page, followed the instructions, and it told me that I extended the domain mapping another year.
I don’t know how to renew the domain itself. Every renew goes to the mapping.
That is what all of this is about.

-
Did you renew the domain in your admin because mark (staff) said do that immediately! That is the best thing to try because I think the domain is still on “pending delete” which means it might not be renewed for you!
