domain problems

  I registered a new domain name with my site,

  http://thatenglishchap.com

  and then I found a way to use the domain name I had originally wanted

  http://spell-checked.com

  The problem being that I have asked for ‘thatenglishchap’ to be cancelled, but ‘spell-checked’ leads a page saying the domain does not exist. The basic domain also takes me to the same page.

  I’m not sure what to do :(

  http://spell-checked.com/ appears to be working properly.

  It can take domain changes up to 72 hours (though usually much less) to propagate to your ISP. Unfortunately, we have no control over this as it all depends on how often your ISP refreshes their DNS cache.
