Domain problems
-
Our .co.uk domain expired with an external provider. I thought this should continue as I had purchased a package with wordpress but I may have been mistaken. But when the domain expired, the website became unreachable even when using the free .wordpress.com domain, which I thought was odd.
I have since purchased a new .com domain and connected that to the WordPress site. But typing in this URL for some reason redirects to .co.uk, which still produces an error message. Can now access the site on the free domain .wordpress.com but given I’ve paid an external provider, and WordPress (twice!) for a .com domain this really should work. Please fix this ASAP.

Hi there!
I’m not showing that you have a paid upgrade that would allow you to use a custom domain as your primary domain here at WordPress.com, so it sounds like you’re redirecting the domain to your free WordPress.com URL instead.
Loading the URL focalcountdown.com, it properly redirects to your site at focalcountdown.wordpress.com, so I’m not sure what the issue is here. You may need to clear your browser cache as it might be retaining the old redirect information.
I hope that clarifies things!

We do have a paid domain for focalcountdown.com. I had to pay WordPress £11 to connect it, I can see it as active under my domains.

Hmmm,
I’m seeing focalcountdown.com forward to focalcountdown.wordpress.com. Is that what you are seeing happen and if that what SHOULD happen?
